Sakku Investments Corporation serves as the for-profit arm of the Kivalliq Inuit Association, with a mission to foster economic development and empower Inuit-owned businesses across the Kivalliq region. The organization needed a digital platform that could highlight its diverse business portfolio, promote regional collaboration, and provide the community with access to secure, rewarding employment opportunities.

Showcasing Regional Businesses
To reflect the breadth and diversity of Sakku’s business network, we created a structured platform organized into six distinct industry categories—representing over 20 affiliated companies. Each company was given a dedicated page, designed to promote its services, share key information, and foster visibility. The result is a comprehensive ecosystem that not only supports local ventures but encourages new partnerships and regional growth.

Promoting Awareness and Engagement
Keeping the community informed was a core priority. We developed a news and updates section that allows Sakku to share timely announcements, economic developments, and regional successes. This regularly maintained feature acts as an essential communication bridge between Sakku and its users.

Building Foundations for the Future
Sakku’s Training & Employment division plays a pivotal role in preparing the workforce of tomorrow. To support this mission, we created dedicated, user-friendly pages that provide detailed information about employment programs, skills development initiatives, and training opportunities. Users can explore and access career paths designed to strengthen the local economy.

Bilingual Accessibility: Inuktitut & English
Recognizing the linguistic and cultural diversity of the region, we collaborated closely with the Sakku Investments team to ensure that all employment-related content is available in both English and Inuktitut. This bilingual approach reinforces accessibility, inclusivity, and equitable opportunity, cornerstones of sustainable regional development.
